At For the Run, we believe that every step should be taken in safety and confidence. That’s why we’re proud to share the story behind the "Just Let Us Run" shirt. A Shirt with a Purpose

The idea for the "Just Let Us Run" shirt came after a series of unfortunate events in the running community mainly centered around women's safety during a run. Every runner deserves to feel safe and supported during their workouts. Run With Aim, a passionate women's running group were a prominent voice in light of these events and we set out to create a shirt that would not only promote awareness about women's safety but also contribute to meaningful change.

Our shirt features the empowering phrase "Just Let Us Run," a call to action for safer spaces and more respect for female runners. It’s a reminder that every woman has the right to run freely and securely, without fear or hesitation.

Supporting the Vanessa T. Marcotte Foundation

The significance of this shirt goes beyond its message. We dedicate 25% of the profits from each shirt to the Vanessa T. Marcotte Foundation. Vanessa’s tragic death, while she was simply out on a walk, sparked the foundation’s creation to support initiatives that enhance safety and support for women in public spaces.

The Vanessa T. Marcotte Foundation works tirelessly to advocate for and implement measures that ensure women can enjoy their daily activities without fear. By supporting this foundation with our $225.00 donation, we’re contributing to a cause that aligns with our values of safety, empowerment, and community.
